Bienvenido

I started thinking when I was young,
What I would like to be,
The creative dreams began its song,
In the real world, for me;
The days went past, the child grew up,
The song played a different tune,
It fit the world where it was stuck,
Those emotions were growing immune;

The lessons learnt are the knowledge gained,
Those moments lost should have really said,
A fountain started should always flow,
To those dreams once more, Bienvenido.

Renewing a phase spent in teenage life,
From the early years it rose,
Moments of spark in a lengthy strife,
As our childhood came to a close;
Though family was our entire space,
Friends nudged their little heads in,
Elders, teachers and those known by face,
Made my life complete from within;

In the race of our lives we lost the cause,
Feelings flew where careers paused,
Life was good, raring to go,
There to here, Bienvenido.

Whatever be our lives past,
Another phase has come to last,
Live each moment, learn from all,
Respect it, stand convinced and tall.

Responsibilities come as you grow,
The world will learn what you show,
Until roads fork and memories glow,
Until we depart, Bienvenido.
